Founded in 2004, SPIE Oil & Gas Services is a specialized subsidiary of SPIE Group, a European leader in electrical engineering, mechanical and HVAC engineering, energy and communication systems. 

Over the years, we have developed through internal growth and acquisitions, most notably through the merger of three high-profile oil and gas players in the early 2000s (FORAID, IPEDEX and SPIE Enertech), the acquisition in 2007 of GEMCO, specialized in turbomachinery maintenance services, and in 2013 through the acquisition of the Australian group PLEXAL, an engineering company.
